Refund Policy

Your Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), administered in Queensland by the Office of Fair Trading. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your flag arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

Change of Mind

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, as a goodwill gesture we accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition. Return shipping is at the customer's expense and original shipping fees are non-refundable.

How to Request a Return

  1. Email info@kangaflags.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will respond with return instructions and an RA number.
  3. Send the item to the address provided. Please use a tracked service — we cannot process refunds for items lost in transit.
  4. Once received and inspected, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom or personalised flags and clearance items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, but your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
